about

In 1981, Robert Fripp released Let The Power Fall, a document of his 1979 "small, mobile Frippertronics tour of restaurants, records shops, offices, canteens, museums, clubs, cinemas, TV studios, and the Monterey Festival". I covered one of the pieces on a recent tour of my own (which included a number of those types of venues, but not, sadly, the Monterey Festival), and I felt the need to engage this whole album, which has been so important to me.

This is Number One in the Next Guest Series.
